Mike Martucci Backed by Sullivan County Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association

Sullivan County Sheriff’s Deputies Latest to Cite Senator Metzger’s Reckless Bail Elimination Law as Reason to Send Mike Martucci to Albany

Goshen, NY (September 24, 2020) – New York State Senate candidate for the 42nd District Mike Martucci today announced that the union representing the Sullivan County Patrol Deputies has endorsed his candidacy to unseat radical leftist Senator Metzger whose failed and dangerous bail elimination law has allowed cities to burn and left a wake of victims and destruction in its path.

The endorsement letter stated, “New York state’s ill-conceived and disastrous bail reform legislation has put the wellbeing and safety of all New Yorkers at risk. Your stance on bail reform makes us confident in your abilities to advocate for and properly represent all the law-abiding citizens of our great county.”

Martucci remarked, “While radical leftists like Senator Metzger and Mayor de Blasio do their best to downplay the violence sparked by bail elimination, the women and men who are on the front lines see it for what it is – a gift to criminals, and they are refusing to remain silent. I am honored that law enforcement associations throughout the district, and across the state, are supporting my efforts to restore sanity to Albany, and safety to our communities. It’s time to put families, not criminals, first.”

The Sullivan County Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association joins a growing chorus of support for the Martucci candidacy. The campaign has picked up endorsements from public officials, unions, law enforcement and business organizations. All endorsements can be found at Martucci4Senate.com.
